Article marketers tend to prefer the written word as the medium for their message, as video marketers prefer a medium that supports pictures and sound for theirs. That’s just the nature of the beast. We gravitate to what comes easy and what we do well. It’s the path of least resistance; the path perceived to be the quickest route to the money.

This is one area where the video marketers have an advantage over the article marketers. Article writing can easily be outsourced to hungry writers looking for work at one to two cents per word. Outsourcing video creation can get real expensive real quick.

So along comes a smart article marketer who figures out he can paste the text from his articles into PowerPoint slides. That PowerPoint presentation can then be imported into Camtasia Studio and converted into a format that can be uploaded to YouTube.
